The group name pretty much describes it.

This is for technical support, help, suggestions, feedback, etc. I will be moving a few topics over here from other places that would better fit in this group.

Be sure to check out the Express Yourselves topic in the general forum because some technical stuff was answered there previously.

This group will also help us develop a FAQ, intentionally or not. :)

How do we search the forum? The search applies to artists and images, but what if we want to find out whether a technical question has already been asked (and answered) before potentially posting the same topic again?

The way I've done it in the past is to input "site:artspots.com words you are searching for here" (without the quotes) into a Google search. That's the only way to really search the forums at the moment. :)

Babbage, I have noticed a few glitches:

1. If I delete a comment, my recent comments widjet goes out-of-whack. It claims I have made no recent comments. The only way I can fix it is to go through it and delete the comments a second time one-by-one.
2.People are faving my art, and it's not sending me a message as to who they are!

Thank you for the advice. Oh, and I love the little critter carrying the drill.

Ooo that's a great tip, thank you!!

Previously I said to use "site:artspots.com" on Google, but that will search the galleries as well (which you might want). "site:artspots.com/forum" will only search the forums.

Just for the heck of it I kifed this code off my blog and modified it slightly; it'll create a search box so you can search the ArtSpots forums. Just thought I'd post that for whoever wants to use it. :) You can replace "artspots.com/forum" with whatever you would normally put after "site:" in a Google search so you can search for other stuff too.

<form action="http://www.google.com/search" style="margin: 0px;" method="get">
<input maxlength="245" style="border: 1px solid rgb(179, 179, 179); background-color: rgb(239, 239, 239);" value="" name="q" size="29" type="text">
<input style="border: 1px solid rgb(179, 179, 179); background-color: rgb(239, 239, 239);" value="Search" type="submit">
<input style="display: none;" value="artspots.com/forum" name="sitesearch"></form>
