well, I'm still not making much headway on thirty second sketches but I sorta think the top left came out better than usual. At least you can see the pose properly in that one. Just need to keep practicing.

yeah, first time I ever tried drawing on that type of surface so it was a bit sketchier than I would have liked. I'll keep the scrap paper in mind tho if I ever use this again. ^^

Have to say I like the first one, very simple and cute :) Really the thing to watch for is to try and dodge these white borders, some scrap paper is ideal for this and stops it turning the house into a rainbow.

been busy for the past week working on my first commission. Was kind of difficult but I thought they came out half decent. This is the first of three pictures done.

I think the difference is in the length of the hair itself. Animal hair tends to be shorter and "fuzzy". Take a look at hair styles on human heads for references. Shorter hair is fuzzy and layered. Longhair flows. Longer hair is often thus drawn in larger "clumps".

lol, that's cause that's all I have in my closet to draw off of. xP And yeah, faces and muzzles in particular, I wanted some type of practice that works more on different expressions rather than the same face I always seem to have on all of my sketches.
