Yay, making my own sketchbook topic. ^.^ Just started on a new sketchbook little over a week ago so putting up all of the existing sketches now just to catch it up to date. Don't expect same quality as the other couple sketchbooks out there now but we'll see how it goes. :)

More feet. Trying for more of a hybrid human/animal type with little to no success though a few in there I liked.

Hands. Ugh. Kinda embarrassing showing the really bad/practice stuff but for a forum like this I guess better to check any inhibitions at the door. I'll improve! :)

I really like the last foot in the second row and the last in the third row - very natural-looking. And challenging angles.

Awesome!! You're my new hero now--I always mean to do good practice stuff like this, but never actually DO it. :) Maybe I will be inspired to start my own sketchbook!
Kepp up the good work! I really like the fox guy in that page of feet!

Maybe try to grab some animal feet/paw references as well and see if you can incorporate them into your hybrid foot anatomy drawings. Some shading on your drawings might help with your understang of the hands' and feet's volume. These are good ^^, I'm just making some suggestions for things to try to help you improve.
Anywho, really nice work Kooky! Keep 'em coming :)

Go for it!! Hehe. I've only been doing it two weeks but I've actually been keeping up with it better than I thought I would. Missed today though but with the holidays and all coming up just too hard to find the time. Am determined to get 5 days each week at the least. :)

No no, suggest away! Don't hold back. Hehe. And yeah I have a bit of reference for animal anatomy around as well that I want to try drawing from, and not to mention my dog, Jake. Hehe. And shading would be pretty cool, I should try that next! Thanks!

From last night. :P Was out with some friends and I was complaining that I was missing my daily sketch though a friend of mine had a sketchbook and ballpoint pen that he let me use. Hehe. It's bad but keep in mind was done in pen and in the middle of a busy noodle house with lotta distractions. ^.^ Just posting it in keeping with the spirit of the forum of not being afraid to show the bad stuff that sometimes gets drawn. :P And sketch was his idea. Hehe.

It came out pretty cool for being completely freehand, Kooky! I think it'd be near perfect if the right leg was longer. Is that something you noticed afterward?

Yeah noticed that right afterwards but then was pen so was kinda stuck. Hehe. Right leg too short, arm is a bit too short, muzzle too short, head a tad too big, feet I think are out of perspective, etc. In short it's a mess. ;)

That's what makes it such a great learning experience! Wonderful sketches, and I especially like your latest one :D

I really love the expression in your Noodle-Doodle. ;) It immediately made me smile! Lovely angle you achieved with the muzzle. I wouldn't worry too much about the head - toons tend to have bigger heads in comparison with their bodies, and I didn't identify it as a "problem" until you mentioned it.

Kyrahlynn: Thanks! :) I'd heard from several people that it's good practice to sketch in pen so that you can't erase. To that I say "Thpppts!"
Vantid: No wasn't Pho, just a gourmet noodle house in this college town near where I live in New Jersey. :)
Sudan Red: Thank you too. Hehe. Just a silly sketch and yeah I suppose you're right about the large heads. :P Should post up some of your artwork here too! I loved the one you did for Jonas.
