I dub this picture "drowning fox". =P I just couldn't get photoshop to cooperate with me on this one. As it was, this took me a good 2.5 hours. For a couple of scraggly limbs and the slightest hint of a face. How sad. =P I'm gonna try again, tomorrow perhaps. Just not happy with this one at all. =P And heck, you know how it is with drawing, you draw a dozen crappy pics for every great one, right? LOL!

OK, here's my background. Inspiration credits belong to freefoto.com, a great resource for artists. The photos are there for any artist to use as painting/drawing subject, as long as the website gets credit. So woot! Go them! Now, to choose a background to draw upon...

I kinda want to get in on this game! It's gonna take me a while on the background though, I'm so inexperienced. I'll probably draw one on paper and scan it in, rather than digital. Hope nobody minds. If I had a tablet, I'd try for digital, but my hand gets so cramped drawing with a mouse, LOL!

Well gave that most recent background a shot at least. ^.^ Was really different for me, not used to dealing with a lack of lines so was pretty good practice I think. :)

Thanks. *grin* I started to throw together something stark and noir to REALLY be a challenge (hooray for venetian blinds!) but was too lazy yesterday to actually plot it out enough to make it work.

All this realism! The backgrounds are hot, but I'd love to see something different. I'm going to challenge you all when I have the time by creating a flat, cartoony, lightsource-free background. :D It'll be fun to see what you guys can do with it.
