How should this "letting you know" be accomplished? Post? E-mail? I received some nice (if generic) pointers, but I could certainly use a more detailed "this specifically is what was wrong" kind of reply if it's available. Thanks! -The Gneech

Bonjour, everyone! Just wanted to kind of mull over some thoughts and explain some goings on. First, I have not officially announced any big changes to the site, but as you can see, it looks and even acts different! Even some minor niceties like if you are at an image or forum post and log in, you stay at that image or forum post instead of going right to Favorites. Those kinds of little things tickle my fancy. Once we actually get everything in place, I will make a larger announcement going over exactly all what is that has changed. This weekend is Anthrocon. As such, it means that updates will probably be sparse... a breath of air! We hope to get caught up on just about everything this weekend and once the weekend is done, plunge fully forward. We were up past 50 backlogged applications. Thanks to our review team, especially Gauguin and Rousseau, we are now down to just ten! And expect most of that to be finished by the weekend. I know that some of the replies seemed standard boilerplate. I will offer to anyone that if they felt they did not get a good explanation or would like us to elaborate further or do redlines, just let me know and we will go further in-depth to give a more comprehensive explanation. Hmm. That pretty much sums it up for me now! We have a few new features just begging to show themselves, but we are not going to let them out until ready. Hope everyone is doing well, and those who are at this weekend's convention, hope it is a great time!
