art trades

ok, just in case someone doesnt know what that is, its when people trade art, requests. so i would request a pic from you and you would request one from me, anyone want to do it? I'll take soem plain requests too, i just really need some jobs.

Well, it depends on what the participants agree on. :) Usually the "rules" are worked out beforehand. I think in the case of ATC's it would be awesome to actually receive the card in the post. I've done numerous trades that were digital only though, and even then you must agree on whether it should be of printable size, whether the files will be emailed to each other or simply just posted in one's gallery.

Personally, I would love to do a trade. The more experience for me, the better, and I haven't done that many requests/trades yet.

A trade can be of several things.

Say one person making lineart and the other colouring it.
One person drawing your character and you drawing theirs.

Sometimes one half will make a scupture, collage, a ACEO (Which are basically trading card sized artwork), it really depends on what both parties decide. They're a nice bit of fun, I owe one to Areinl at the moment for example, she did me a marker Notalope so I'm doing a digi of her two Toucagryphs :)

I would like to do some ATC's. I've been baaaaad about art lately and I am trying to get back into it. Maybe if we can have a big free-for-all ATC trade?

Well if somebody could work out the dimensions for digital I could too for a laugh... I was gonna do some artwork myself today but between the freezing cold blowing in most of the afternoon and fixing up a tank never got chance :)

That could be cool, I would be willing to try that, some trading I mean. Just for fun and if I find time. What size, (I know I saw it somewhere but I'm too lazy to go hunting)? I have blank index cards that are 3"x5" that I use for drawing, would they work?

Maybe we could all either trade one-on-one or have a big trade-for-all. I suppose it all depends on how many people show interest. :)
