The best part of Christmas this year was...

Merry Christmas to everybody on Artspots!!!! :D Just a fun question: What was your favorite part of Christmas this year? Have fun!! ^^

Goodness... there were so many!

I mean, Christ's birth was the best gift ever, but I have some more artist guidebooks, tracing paper, notebooks to fill up, it's all so wonderful!

AND a lightbox! Which means I can copy notebook line drawings onto white! More posting pictures, YAY! And, hopefully, a new scanner!

And I was given paper made from, er... elephant poo. ,':/ Wonder what a drawing looks like on that!

Oh! Praise the Lord! My family got together, we had a wonderful celebration!

Merry Christmas and happy holidays everyone!!! :) Best part about Christmas this year was my aunt getting out of the hospital. She's still too weak to join us for Christmas dinner and all but she's home at least and recovering well. That and all the presents!! Ho ho ho! :D

Christmas isn't over for me(I have yet to see Alex), I got some great presents gave people art for the first time. My dad liked the painting of our little birds I gave him. I got some great movies and some photo editing software(Aperture 2) for my Mac. The funniest one was from my brother; a big box with 9 individually wrapped Mr. Noodle and a measuring cup, I didn't have one in my room in residence for my Mr. Noodle.

I'm glad your aunt got out of the hospital Kooky, that is great.

Alright, I guess I should. Em... Oooh! Well, I suppose some of my favorite Christmas moments were... Aha! I got some!! In case you didn't lnow, my dad's side of the family gets together on Christmas eve, my mom's on Christmas day, since both sides live out of town from where I live, so, a wee bit of background info for you.But anyways! When it comes to a mixture of crazy uncles, my dad, firecrackers, and bats... Well, it's gonna be fun! But, to begin with the bats, there’s a lot of them at my grandparent’s house, and well, around noon, they all come out to eat. So, my crazy uncle shows me something that I will always remember and something that will help me greatly in the future. How to get a bat to play fetch. And so, he’s how you do it. You get a rock, throw it up beside the bat, it senses it with it’s echolocation, and dives after it until the rock hit’s the ground and the bat realizes that it’s not a bug. And that’s how you do it. Soooo much fun!!! And it actually works!!! 8D Now about the fireworks, well, my dad gets the bright idea to take the stick off of the rocket. He gets a match, lights the fuse, and plans to throw it. Let’s just say that bright idea almost took out a window. XD Yep! Great times we have at family get-togethers! Great times! ^^

Merry Christmas all! I think the best part of Christmas for me this year was the overall bonding with family. My brother and I especially spent alot of time together today. Another part was sharing Christmas with our two new foster children. They had an awesome time, so we all feel better because of it. Can't wait to see what 2009 holds! Happy New Year! ^..^

P.S. That is so cool about the bats, Scotland Sky! ^^

I got a Garmin, one of those navigators yanno. With all the traveling I do out in the middle of...well, nowhere really...I could totally use it ;D

Really? I need to try it out! Hope it works good! But I'm afraid I don't know where it came from, it was a gift.
