I know for a fact that several people have purchased prints of this piece: http://silverone.artspots.com/image/24836/marketplace. Yet my current balance still reads $0.00 and number of prints sold is 0. What gives?

There's "payout" periods. I believe they're once a month? You get money all at once vs. little payments. The number goes up when payout happens. :)

Hello Silverone!

The reason sold prints do not show up right away is because they are only credited in the system once they ship. We ran out of that particular paper and had to reorder it, and it came in today. If you look now, you should see the prints sold and the amount. Payouts are done on the 1st of every month, give or take a few days, so expect yours this weekend.

I realize we could make this a bit clearer, and it so happens we have been working on redesigning the site, so expect more clarity in regards to prints and originals around the beginning of December.

Oh, and I just have to say this:

That is such a beautiful piece! I am reminded of Vermeer and his paintings when I look at it. Daily scene, a soft, ethereal feel, and painstaking attention to detail, specifically light. This is truly one of the most impressive pieces of anthropomorphic art I have seen over the years.

Thanks a lot for the reply and don't worry about it. I know that this is still a new site and there are some things to work out here and there. There's also the fact that I'm new here and thusly not apprised of all the goings on. Overall, I'm highly impressed this site.

Thanks again.
