Page doesn't exist...?

I keep getting a message when I click on a recent upload. At the top of the page it's telling me the page no longer exists (it appears as a bright yellow bar). Anyway, I can still view the uploads, I'm just getting this message above each picture every time. Anyone else experiencing this?

Yeah, every now and then. Not sure at all what's creating the error, but it... I think it must be looking for something to include in the page (ala SSI or PHP Include, something fancypants like that) but it can't find it, which is why it displays the error.

The question is, what is it looking for? Especially as it appears on only a few pieces...

Pic attached to show everyone else what's happening, exactly.

Fixed it. Or rather, fixed the condition that caused the notice to appear. It had to do with some residuals of the site merger and some files not being found due to the different Apache virtual host setups between the two sites. (JaxPad has been rolled into ArtSpots. I would suggest logging into there now -- same account works and everything. :) )

Thank you for the screenshot. It helped me pinpoint the issue very quickly.

I've just ran into a similar issue. With this new private messaging system, I successfully managed to send a private message to myself (why are you looking at me weird? D: ) Then I went to send a message to my friend, and I click their send private message link and I get the error page. I go back to their user page and it does exactly the same thing on their user page, saying that they weren't found :c But despite that error message (which appears just like the one in the screenshot above), their page still loads. And this happens no matter how many times I try loading their page.

I went to some random person's page I stalk and clicked their send private message link and it takes me to the correct page as normal. Now, I didn't attempt to send a private message to them since I'm just some random person (and I'm horrible at small talk), so I go back to my friend's page and that bar is gone. All right! I'm thinking, so I click their send private message link again and nupe, same error page and return of the yellow bar that claims they weren't found.

After typing this, I refreshed their page to see if it was still there, and apparently after some time that bar just fixes itself, but clicking on their send private message link summons it back for a brief period of time.

I wonder if it's anything to do with the fact my gallery is Karu-Dragon so it's conflicting with my username being different... Cus I have to be more awkward :)

[/edit] This is the screenie he sent me this morning of it. I messaged myself fine though, it could be something already cleared, it could be something completely different, who knows. I'm just the one the message was gonna go to :)

Ze Gecko and Feather Dancer, you'll be glad to know I fixed the problem about an hour ago. I saw a lot of error messages pop up from what I'm guessing were Ze Gecko's attempts. (The site really notifies us!) It should all be fixed now.

If you're curious, it's because your login is karu_dragon, and by default it sends karu-dragon as the recipient. A dash and underscore being different, and computers being the annoyingly literal things they are, that caused a few issues. :)

(For the curious, underscores are technically not allowed in domain names, so instead of karu_dragon.artspots.com it needs to be karu-dragon.artspots.com. Sometimes causes issues with a browser or two.)

Your efficency with these things never ceases to amaze me. Thanks for that, I'll let him know when he gets up. At least thats one less thing to worry about :)

Ha, yeah, I apologize, I did try a few times the first time the error message popped up, and then when that bar disappeared I tried it a few more times :x I promise next time I encounter an error message I won't keep attempting to do the same thing which caused it! 0=)
