Bonjour everyone! Arlene has selected an interesting challenge for us all...
Species Description: Sunwakers live in forests, deserts or other warm habitats, but will only settle far from humans. It is not that they are fearful of humans, they just find that the roosters often kept by humans tend to interrupt their music at dawn, their favorite time to play. They find this terribly rude. Their music is of particular importance to them because it is how they converse. The sunwakers music is their language and they make no other sounds or vocalizations. All sunwakers are experts at crafting elaborate instruments of all types, and through these
instruments weave beautiful melodies that can be understood by others of their kind with all of the detail and clarity of language. To another ear the music of a sunwaker would sound like a well crafted song, but a sunwaker might hear a tale of
heroism, a confession of love or possibly just a complaint that the player found nothing good to eat that morning for breakfast. They almost always have a song to play at dawn, hence their name, but may play their music at any time during the night or day if they so desire. For the most part, sunwakers prefer the solitary
life, living far from even others of their own kind. However, if they find themselves out of earshot of another sunwaker, they get very lonely and will begin to search for a less isolated new home.
Physical Description: Their skin does not have any scales or fur except for a tuft of fur at the end of their tails. Their coloring is mostly earth tones: greens, browns and yellows, but they can have patterns, spots or stripes on their skin in these colors. They have very large ears which allow them to hear the music played by others of their species from many miles away.
Personality Description: Though personalities vary by each individual, for the most part they tend to be contented and shy away from danger and excitement preferring instead to forage for food, construct new instruments, and play their music.

Same :) My only question is, how big are they? A comparsion with a critter of somesort would be ideal if possible please.

They are about 3 feet tall from their feet to the top of their heads. I am trying to think of a critter example and the first thing that comes to mind are the dilophasaurus from Jurassic Park that spit and eat Dennis Nedry. I think they were about three feet tall. I wish I could think of a better example, but my brain is not working well tonight.

Yeah, I haven't started working on my entry yet. I should do that today, especially since I like painting alien-like creatures.

WolfReign your art is getting more and more refined! What a lovely pic! And fully colored with a background and everything. You should be very proud.
