Color help

Hmmmms, it looks like this is in need of something but not sure what? Deeper shadows maybe? :\ Not played with colored pencils in awhile so kinda sloppy in spots I know. Bit monotone too but that's not my fault, that's the colors of the character. :D

Try adding some soft shadows to the character and sheets, and maybe some darker shadows underneath him, in the same shades of blue you've used for the pillow. That would help unify everything and bring the figure 'down to earth,' so to speak ('cause right now he's just floating there). Repeating colors is the way to go. Just a thought, hope it helps!

Oh yeah isn't totally finished, was going to put some color beneath him still though didn't think about trying it with that same shade of blue as the pillows. I can try that! And you mean to add the soft shadows to the character is blue as well?
