This is my "self redline" I did away from home straight onto the digital file. Hopefully the way I coded the colours isn't too confusing- red is just the body and anatomy and dark blue is the clothes. I think it looks a lot better already and so did the friend whose house I was staying over at (and whose computer I used to do this) but you guys probably know better. And yeah, I gave her more hips; as I get bigger, she gets bigger, heh. (The original drawing is just less than a year old.)

Hope the legs aren't too crazy...and yeah, the shoulder was pretty weird once I looked at it. Whoops. So, yeah, I'm posting this so Thorn can see how I got on my own trying to go without a visual guide of what I did wrong. I always have a hard time going straight from text, not 'cause I'm lazy, I even have a hard time visualizing scenes when reading. Just a weird thing of mine.

Kay babbled long enough sorry about the lag I've been buuuuuussssssssssy.

I'm going to have to agree with what Kooky said. The head's structure needs to be reworked a lot. The eyes are way too high up on the skull and too large in comparison to the rest of the face, also the mouth is really huge, especially for a coyote. I would suggest checking references of coyotes for the perspective, I know I have a hard time making things look coyote-ish, they always end up having wolfish muzzles (too thick) for some reason. The pose is really stiff and doesn't flow very well. Generally those animation books are really great to have on hand because the way they teach you to draw really shows you how to exaggerate motion and also gives you really great lines of action to start off with. the shoulder on the neck of the guitar is at a wonky angle in that I think it could be brought a little closer to the body, as right now at that angle it looks very dislocated. The head in general is a bit big for the rest of the body. I'd like to give a redline but unfortunately I'm really pressed for time, I'll see how far you've gotten on your own after a new update and I'll see if I can help more if you still want it :)

Heys! I'm not the best with feedback but I can give you my two cents at least.

Looking really good so far I think! My initial reaction was that the muzzle was too large/long but not sure now, kinda fits into the style of it. Clothing folds are ALWAYS a pain I think. These don't seem too bad though I dunno about that large one on the inside of the character right thigh. Doesn't seem right though not sure how to fix that. Pose seems pretty well balanced though maybe a little stiff in the dynamic department. Hands look really well done! With perspective, something is bothering me about that left shoulder. Seems like the chest is turned back a bit but that should is still facing forwards too much. Or maybe it's the height of the shoulder that's throwing it off. Again not too sure which is why I'm not that good with giving feedback. ^.^ Hope that helped some though!

I hate to post again, but...

...Did I post at a bad time? Finals? Something? It's uh...kind of been a week since I posted this.

Eh. I'll wait. It's not as if I have time to finalize the actual thing anyway.

Attached is one of the images that I've drawn that I'm most proud of. It's getting up there in age because I've never been able to take out the time to get here and get crits for it because I'm trying to get commissions done, but I decided to go for it. This is just my coyote, pretending she knows what she's doing with a guitar. She's a good actor, it seems. But anyway, I was reffing mostly myself with this, which is logical, Jerry is my fluffy coyote avatar, and I also borrowed a lot of the clothing folds I had at the time of drawing this for her.

SO- areas that may be of concern:
CLOTHING FOLDS. They are my bane. Yeah, I did reference them off of myself, but here's an odd little factoid- I couldn't stand up when I drew this. I had a major injury to my left heel. SOOO I'm afraid I may have screwed some things up majorly in the pants and such.

POSE: Good balance? I like to think I'm pretty good at setting a good balanced pose, but I may be wrong.

DYNAMICS: Since I put so much work into this drawing, I wonder if all the looseness and dynamicism got sucked out of it. Is it stiff? :(

OVERALL ANATOMY: Nuff said. Sorry I kinda drew over all the loose construction lines.

PERSPECTIVE: How do I drawed perspective? No, seriously, I still fail at that.

Okay that should cover my concerns. I just want this to be the best I can do, because I feel it has potential.

If I don't reply right away it's because a) Missouri thunderstorms and b) more importantly, COMPUTER PROBLEMS. Hopefully things will resolve themselves by the weekend computer-wise.
