Sorry about that guys! Apparently the email wasn't working and I was waiting a little bit too long before asking Kooky to send it again. Thanks for taking the initiative Kooky!

Anyways, here's what we'll be drawing this round:

Hey Toulouse! Here's the info for the next trading post.

Litte b-day surprise for one of my best friends for the past 20 years or so. Hehe.
He's only had one picture drawn of his character so only one reference picture plus
the description. Thanks!!

Shadis: Standing at just a bit over 6' tall he looks as though he is a tiger that is
in good shape, maybe not as fit as he once was, but he still looks like he keeps up
with his fitness. His fur is short and well groomed with the colors being black
with white stripes. His cheek ruffs are nice and fuzzy, well groomed like the rest
of his fur. He wears his white head fur pulled back into a pony tail. His brown
vest hangs open showing his white chest and tummy fur off. On the vest is a silver
harp pin with several different colored gem stones. His tail pokes out though an
opening in the back of his black loose fitting silk shorts. The tail almost always
seems to be flicking about behind him, showing that he is in a very good mood almost
all the time. His stance seems well balanced on his digigrade feet, looking
relaxed, but ready to move quickly if need be. He gives a smile and a nod as he
notices your gaze. His bright blue eyes looking back with curiosity, and perhaps a
bit of mischief in them. Most of the time he can be seen wearing his patch work
suede back pack over his shoulder.

Yay a tiger :) I'm sure whatever you guys come up with will be Grrrrrreat! (ducks flying cutlery!)

*throws a fork*

Huh a big cat, that'll be a nice change as it's yet another thing I'm terrible at. I'll see what I can scrawl now I can actually see what I'm doing!

A muffin a day keeps the evil away.

Oh cool, I don't draw many tigers, so this will be good for me. W00t, as they say!

Whoo! Glad for whoever will be able to give it a shot. :) I'm tempted to do one myself actually. He's been nagging me for awhile to draw his character though I don't do felines too well. :P Hehe.

Nice, I'll give this a shot. ^^

Big kitty!
and I'd have to say what an awesome idea for a present!
I'd love to lend an attempt. :3

Now here's a fun guy to doodle. I love big cats. ^_^ Portrait style and not really toony. (I apologize if that's what he prefers.)

You gonna bark all day, little doggie?

Whoo! Thanks Bad Dog. That looks really cool, I love how you did his headfur and all. Hehe. And naws, my friend said he has no preference on whatever style people choose and wanted me to thank you for it! :)

Here's a sketch of Shadis for ya! Kooky, hope that your friend likes it and has a wonderful birthday!

Thanks Arlene! Not seen you around in awhile, glad you could participate! My friend says, "Hey another pic of me up on Jaxpad! Thank them for the pic and the b-day wishes if you don't mind..and YES I do like it alot!!!" Hehe! I like it a lot too, especially how you did the hands, been trying to get that kinda human/animal mix down lately. Hehe.

When does this end anyway? I'm hoping to get it done this weekend so hoping it doesn't end before I submit.

Needs at least three entries even it's been over a week :)

Whoo, traditionally colored picture! Been awhile. :D With some tips from oCe, added some more shadows with the blue color which I think helped round him out a bit. Done with colored pencils (Prisma verithins) which are fun to mess with even if I dunno what I'm doing with them. Dunno if this can count towards the voting thing either, being it's my own TP. ^.^ So not to be included in the vote. Happy birthday Mikey!

AM I TOO LATE?! D:

Here's mine!!
Uh
I don't know why he needed a monocle :3

Hehe! Monocles make everything better! :D Nice though, really animated looking. Drawing motion is always tricky I think.

ok, still working on my pic for the trading post but just in case I don't make the deadline I'm posting one of my other sketches. Hopefully I can get this finished but I think the one I have right now needs major amounts of tweaking.

Slipping in under the gate here most likely, but I felt inspired by the other entries. A bit bland, but fun to just work in my blue sketching pencil again. :)

PS Interesting fact! If you invert the colours in PhotoShop, Shadis turns into a "normal" tiger! XD

WolfReign: Awwww, adorable! ^.^ Doing what cat's do best, regardless of their size. Hehe. Another cool action shot.

Sudan: And here we are looking into some work from Sudan's "Blue Period" ;) I always love blue (or red) pencil sketches though! And there's nothing normal about Shadis, believe me. Hehe.

Tigers are actually really hard to draw facial wise. This was just a mess around to try and work out how, assuming I ever wake up properly I'll do a proper image.

ok, finished my submission for the trading post. The other submission up top isn't supposed to be voted on. Hope it's ok even if the color scheme came out horribly wrong.
