Heya, everyone. New arrival here. :D I was just wondering if I might find some help with a sketch I've been working on lately.

Sorry about the quality of the image - it's a pencil sketch, and I don't think I can actually adjust the gamma adjust on my scanner, so they always seem to turn out absurdly light even when they're dark and I have to do a lot of manual color adjustment. If it's too much, just say so and I'll try to find another scanner to commandeer. Anyway, I really just wanted to make sure I have the basic body shapes and everything down okay before I go any further with it. Any help at all would be appreciated, though. :)

Hmm, from what I can tell, the arms look a bit on the long side. The elbows should be at about the natural waist, where the body pinches in. And be careful about not making the forearm too long- its about the same length as the upper arm. And to get a good estimate on how long the hand should be- its about half of your forearm, fingertips ending near the top of the thigh. Also, you might want to check the proportions of the body itself compared to the head, unless a slightly larger head is what you were going for. Hope that helps ^_^

That's pretty much exactly what I was looking for, thanks! Adjusting the arms like that looks a lot better. And yeah, the larger heads were kind of intentional, or at least something I wasn't particularly worried about, as long as they aren't too huge...do you think they are? Anyway, thanks again! :3
